My 30 day stay at Salt Recovery has set me up to start living my life to the fullest. I came here at my very lowest after having suffered a number of significant losses and was using alcohol to numb the pain. From the moment my family reached out to the team at Salt Recovery they were convinced this was the place for me to get better and they were right. I can’t speak highly enough about the whole team, they work together and you end up with a holistic treatment plan that you have input into. The facilities are amazing but at the end of the day it’s the people that are caring for/treating and supporting you that make all the difference and these people are the absolute best. From the moment you step inside the house, you are welcomed with smiles and open arms as if you’re in a familiar environment with people you know. The staff are phenomenal- dedicated, passionate, understanding, kind, caring and supportive with zero judgement. The treatments you receive are all 5 star quality. The food is absolutely incredible, all dietary requirements are carefully adhered to and you never leave the table hungry. Over the last 20 years I have attended numerous places and this is definitely the best place I have been to. The program Salt runs is excellent. The staff are warm and accommodating and the house is a great place to be in for your recovery. I’ve tried other rehabs in the past, but nothing has come close to my experience at Salt Recovery. I spent 30 days here and am now continuing with the day programme three days a week to stay connected, and it’s been life-changing. The level of care and guidance I’ve received, not just for myself but for my family, has been incredible. Salt has helped guide my family through this journey in a way I never expected. A special mention to Kahl, the chef—his meals are amazing and a highlight of each day! Other rehabs I’ve been to were double the price and didn’t even come close to the outcomes I’ve achieved here. The staff at Salt are next-level. They create a family vibe that makes you feel at home and truly welcome. I work as a massage therapist at Salt Recovery, and through my work with many people, I've come to realize something. On their first day at Salt, everyone is quiet, reserved, and seems exhausted and tense. However, as the days go by, they gradually become more vibrant, energetic, friendly and active. my nursing career at Salt Recovery House began a year ago. since then, ive studied & completed  holistic treatments, now holding space for sound healing & yoga on top of my nursing duties at the Rehab - which im so grateful for as i personally dont know any other nurses that are able to do this within their workplace! throughout my time working here, i've witnessed many successes from guests, watched them regain power of their life & become the creator of their reality - whilst being in the care of professionals at our luxurious house providing them with a holistic experience. i grew up with addiction in my home, so working with addiction & mental health for me has been a full circle moment, where i've been able to understand addiction from a different perspective as well as heal my inner child & gain closure.
